The beginning
Desempacando
Unpacking the new music concept
With just 5 years old, Karlos Dergal started playing piano. At 13 he wrote his first song called Dream, and recorded it on his first album Desempacando in 2009. In November of 2009 Orgasmo was his first single and instantly the eyes of the world stared at him. A different concept with electronic, acoustic, jazz and funk sounds made this album special. Followed by singles like Más Allá de las Sábanas, Porque Me Amaste, and Me He Quedado Solo Karlos started building brick by brick, a steady career.
In 2011 Karlos decided to explore more electronic sounds with house, trance and hip hop. Off The Hook was released as the first single of his second album called Smile. This was his first english speaking production with 12 songs written and produced by him. Six hit singles smashed the electronic lists; Sexy, Like Gold, Ghosts, If You Seek For Sex and Diamond in the Rough are just a few of them. With this songs he became one of YouTube’s Top 50 most watched music channel in 2012.
Since his first single he established a special signature as a showman with astonishing videoclips and incredible live performances.

DANCING LIKE MANIACS
The first number one hit
After exploring with his first electronic and english album, Karlos decided he had to continue on that way. That’s when he got back into the recording studio and gave us Glitter, his third production. A completely new approach of dance music with 15 original songs. Can’t Stop was the single that introduced Glitter to the audience, and instantly reached out Reverbnation’s Top 30.
Never Again was his first bilingual song with both english and spanish versions. This hit got into the top ten most streamed songs of Reverbnation in 2014. A strong electronic pop ballad was released that year named El Regalo, which also reached this top ten. In 2015 Dance Like a Maniac became Karlos Dergal’s first single to hit the number one on the top ten of most streamed electronic songs of Reverbnation. He has participated on musical tours such as Evolution Music Fest on Canada where he had the privilege to be invited by Arthur Kalimidis to be the closure spectacle, that’s how he got the title “The Showman“.

CELEBRATE
Mixtape and the live tour
At the last quarter of 2019, Karlos Dergal felt ready to celebrate his first 10 years of musical career by releasing a double studio album with 18 songs, all of them were covers making tribute to the 80’s and 90’s. 9 songs in spanish such as Me Haces Tanto Bien, Cómo Pudiste Hacerme Esto a Mí, No Vuelvas a Besarme (originally performed by Amistades Peligrosas, Alaska y Dinarama and Tatiana) among others. And finally 9 english songs like Misled, You Spin Me Round and I’m OK (originally performed by Celine Dion, Dead or Alive and Jem and the Holograms) to name a few.
In 2020 the Celebration started with an international press tour and a complete 2 hour concert live streamed on YouTube gathering more than 20k plays. On this concert Karlos had 12 wardrobe changes, 2 backup dancers, 21 live songs and a lot of love from his audience.
